These are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Monday hours are exclusively for Consultations and Tastings. If a Monday will absolutely not work for you please ask and we can make arrangements for a different time.
Why do I need to do a consultation? You are important to us and so is your cake! We want to give you are undivided attention to discuss the details about your wedding cake. Instead of forcing you to pick from a book of other couple’s cakes we LOVE to come up with new and creative custom ideas to fit your wedding cakes wishes! We love to brain storm with you, figure out your style and then come up with something unique and special just for you and your fiance . Plus, it’s just plain fun! Who doesn’t want to try samples of cake =).
Who can setup a consultation? Consultations and Tastings are mainly for Wedding Cake orders, but we would be happy to accommodate anyone with a larger event that has an order over $100. For smaller cakes come on in the shop during normal business hours and Heather will gladly sketch up something so you know exactly what you will be getting.
How much does it cost? A $25 Consultation & Tasting fee is required. However, if you book us for your Wedding Cake the fee is applied directly to your $50 Save The Date deposit which is then applied to your final balance. A credit card or check must be provided when your appointment is made.
What does my consultation include?
- You and 1 or 2 other people
- All possible combinations of:
- 5 Flavors of Cake
- 5 Fillings
- 4 Frostings
- 1 Hour one-on-one designer face time with Heather (less if needed)
- Follow-up contact & a sketch of cake when applicable, until your wedding date.
