Help us help our community with a little friendly competition along the way! Each month three local nonprofit organizations will compete on Facebook to win Scoop Love. The organization that receives the most votes on SDC’s Facebook page for the month will receive 10% of every Thursday’s Gelato sales as a donation to their organization. Help us spread the love by encouraging friends and family to vote for your organization and to come into SDC for a tasty treat!

Rules:
We know it’s a competitive world out there, so we’re laying down the law…
- All voting will be done within one month once the three organizations are selected.
- All voting will be done on Sweet Designs Cakery’s Facebook page.
- Each organization’s logo will be posted on Facebook where individuals can “like” or “comment” on the picture.
- All “likes” and “comments” will each be counted as a vote for the organization.
- Vote as much as you would like because all duplications of “likes” and “comments” will be counted! (So if you are in it to win it take advantage of your votes…the more the better!)
- The organization with the most votes during the month of the competition wins and Sweet Designs Cakery will donate 10% of every Thursday’s Gelato sales to the winning organization the following month.
- Your organization will only participate one time per year.
- If you don’t steal the title as the month’s winner, you will automatically be entered in next month’s voting. We want everyone to have a chance to win!
- First come, first serve on the time line of voting.
- Positions are reserved to nonprofit organizations in Crawford County.
Ways to Get the Word Out:
Here are some ideas for you to help get the word out about your organization’s involvement in the competition and increase votes and Gelato purchases. We want as many people as possible to buy Gelato on each Thursday of the month because the more we sell the more we can donate to you!!
- Post it on Facebook…and create an event for each Thursday encouraging others to stop in at SDC to try some refreshing Gelato.
- Advertise the competition on your website.
- Contact local newspapers, radio and TV.
- Send personal invites to friends and family of organization members to visit SDC for some Gelato.
- Post flyers (We have made a template for you to use! Just ask and we will email it!)
